The privately-owned Hotel Tennerhof is the first five-star house in Kitzbühel. On the sunny side of the valley overlooking the village, at the base of the Kitzbuheler Horn gondola lift, there's a hotel steeped in history. Over 300 years ago the Tennerhof was simply a farmhouse, but its location and warm hospitality saw it evolve into a fine hotel.

Their elegant bathing landscape consists of an indoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a Kneipp pool, and in the winter, a picturesque Jacuzzi.

Each guest room has a rustic feel and is decorated with heirloom items but also has modern furnishings.

The cuisine, which has won many awards, is one of the best in the country (2 Gault Millau trophies).
