Les Arcs is a purpose built ski resort, ideal for beginners, intermediates and experts alike. There are many long descents, plenty of steep stuff, plenty to keep intermediates happy plus woods to head to in a storm. And for those who really like to travel on skis, the link to La Plagne takes the amount of skiing into the Trois Vallées league.
In the heart of the Tarantaise, Les Arcs consists of five distinct districts which are connected to each other through ski-runs and roads. It is a resort made for alpine and cross country skiing and the architecture has been adapted to fit into the surroundings.
Arc 1600: It is the lowest and also the simplest place from Bourg-St-Maurice to reach. Family resort.
Arc 1800: the resort with more bustle on a sunny terrace, with the three villages Le Charvet, Les Villards and Charmettoger.
Arc 1950: Purpose built by Intrawest, this village is the newest addition to Les Arcs. A village that’s not only more pleasant to inhabit than the others, but also very conveniently arranged.
Arc 2000: the sportiest resort with its 2 kilometre long ski-runs, in the heart of the skiing area. Compulsory car/park (extra). Private cars are only allowed to the apartments to load luggage.
Peisey-Vallandry: traditional Savoyard town linking the two ski areas of Les Arc and La Plagne. Ski down to the town from the Les Arc side. 1600m altitude.
International flights available to Geneva or Lyon. There are regular public and private shuttles from both airports, which take about 2 1/2 hours.

Residence Le Village is situated in the charming car-free ski village of Les Arcs 1950, a village constructed in 2003 in the Whistler Canadian style. In the charming village centre there are fantastic restaurants, a number of bars, a supermarket, bakery and various shops, and the centre borders the slopes! The Marmottes lift can be reached on skis. Résidence Le Village consists of 8 residences which have lovely colours and house spacious and luxurious apartments. The residence offers many facilities, including a reception with lobby and open fireplace, restaurant, bar, heated outdoor pool, sauna, fitness room, Jacuzzi, bread service, ski lockers and covered parking (some facilities for a fee).
The chalet apartments are comfortably and stylishly furnished with a classic flair and radiate atmosphere and charm. The kitchen equipment can vary: electric or ceramic hob, an oven or a combi microwave. In some apartments there is an open fireplace. All apartments have a balcony or terrace with garden furniture.
