This charity tour expands our program as it’s the northern-most trip we offer! Experience the longest days of the year in a region where the sun never sets during summer. The islands of the Lofoten, Västeralen, Senya and Tromsø offer unique European natural beauty: picturesque harbor towns with their typical boat houses, a fascinating variation of fjords, rivers, lakes and waterfalls, as well as small, towns surrounded by green wilderness.
We encounter art and culture in this arctic region as well as the cozy coffee houses along the way, which invite us for a waffle and a hot chocolate or tea. Even if the temperatures only range between 10 and 20 degrees, and the white sandy beaches are too cold to go for a swim, we can marvel at the turquoise water, which reminds of the remarkable water in the Caribbean. By E-Bike we cycle along the secluded panorama roads in the north. Accommodation is in traditional hotels and boat houses. A travel guide and an accompanying bus insure travel convenience along the way.
We donate 20 % of the travel price to the international disaster relief organization ADRA, with international commitments, particularly in conflict areas. As a global network, ADRA supports people in critical situations, but also in long-term sustainable development cooperation projects. ADRA helps people, regardless of ethnic group, religion, or political orientation. This trip is carried out twice a year from Å to Tromsø and from Tromsø to Å.
